Find Unique Photographs at This Art Gallery
Are you searching for a unique work of art? If so, head to the PDNB Gallery. Standing for Photographs Do Not Bend, it focuses solely on photo-based art. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, and it's just fourteen minutes from our Lake Carolyn apartments.
Artists include:
Adam Jahiel
Adam Jahiel's storied career includes working as a photographer for the 1987 French-American Titanic Expedition. His photographs have been featured in Time and Newsweek, along with dozens of books. He never stages his work and strives to reflect the sentiments of man against nature and man against himself. At the gallery, Adam's black-and-white images capture the cowboys of the Great Basin.
Ira Wagner
After working on Wall Street for nearly 30 years, Ira Wagner began studying photography. He earned an MFA after spending two years capturing the landscape of the Bronx. Today, he is focusing on the landscape found along the northeast corridor train route stretching between New York and Washington. His work has been featured in both solo shows and national publications.
Delilah Montoya
Born in Texas to a Latina mother, Delilah Montoya captures the rich traditions of Aztec Mexicans and Native Americans. She continually pushes the boundaries to produce conceptually challenging work. Her pieces are found in the collections of the Mexican Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Delilah's work is celebrated within the Latino community, and it's shown in group exhibitions around the world.
Admission to the gallery is free. The staff is knowledgeable, and they'll help you find the perfect photograph for your space.
